Answer . The IAT ( Intake Air Temperature ) sensor is located on the back of the air cleaner housing.
Answer . \nThe alternator, facing the engine, is located low on the left side of the engine. It really is easier to remove and replace from the bottom.
Answer . \nThis can be done with the information provided in your owner's manual. If you don't have one, get one. Sources are dealer, e-bay, salvage yard, or many online si…tes. Here is one site. http://www.samarins.com/maintenance/manual.html\n. \nOr you could just look under the dash, driver's side, or it possibly has no interior release, and the hood is released outside, front of car, inside the grill. Spend some time looking for it.. Answer . \nThe Hood release can be found inside the glove box
Answer . \nthe hood release is found in the glove box on the right hand side it took me almost a hour to find it
Answer . Hi, The easiest way I found on my '97 and when I went to the junk yards I found it the easiest on earlier models too, was to remove the instrument panel assy, very… carefully as the speedo cable is attached to it and the plugs for the instrument panel are atteched to the top of the panel. Care is needed as you don't want to short the flexible circuit board on the back. The lights are right as well as those circuits and their wiring is what you will have unplugged. The wiring for the radio and heater/fan lights are behind those and you need to remove the bezels and the ashtray and lighter. When you have those items removed, the wiring is behind those items.\nThe hardest thing about the removal of the instrument cluster is replacing the speedo cable and getting the panel wiring plugged back in all at the same time. It's not easy so I wish you luck and patience and I hope this helps, if it doesn't or more help is neede please ask more. Thanks,\nSteve
Answer . \nWhen I have a problem like this, I go right to my car dealers parts department and have them print out a picture from their computer of the routing. They will do… this for you if you ask.. Answer . Hi,\nIn the Chilton's book for Suzuki; Samurai/Sidekick/Tracker #66500, you'll find vacumn diagrams on page 4-60. I'd scan them in but I don't have a way to do that, maybe someone here could? If not, the book should be at your library or is only about $15.00 at most auto parts stores. Good luck.\nSteve
remove the fender liner. probably have broken studs. they usually come out easily. a left hand drill bit works good if they're flush.
Answer . Hi, The refrigerant used has been R-12 in these older vehicles. Today, the refrigerant used is R-134a. Vehicles that are still using the older R-12 should convert… to the newer R-134a. There are many places that can convert your car to the newer refrigerant. I had a car done at a local Oil Doctor but most places that advertise air conditioning service can make the change. Hope this helps and is timely for you. Steve H.. you can also get a conversion kit at a local parts store like performance parts or advance or any of the chains, it cost me 35 bucks, if your system has not operated in a while you need to get a vaccuum check. if there is a leak in the compressor another 30 bucks can buy some stuff to fix it, if there is a leak in the lines, it may be as simple as a 20 cent o-ring or a new line but the fix stuff for the compressor does not fix lines just compressor leaks.
A leak in an exhaust manifold will be very loud. The car may alsoexperience issues stalling or running to lean since the oxygensensor readings will be off.
How do i find the torque seguence for head bolts intake manifold bolts on a 1996 ford f250 460 7.5 liter?
The torque seguence is in workshop manuels. If you dont have a shop manuel, you can go to a Ford shop and ask them to photo copy a diagram from their book for you.
My guess would be a plugged catalytic convertor. If the tailpipe stays cold, that pretty much confirms it. Let me know if that helps.
Hi, Your distributor is at the rear of the engine, a little right of center. I must warn you that it is not easy to remove. The best way to remove it is to first mark each w…ire where it came from, just make a small diagram. You need a short socket and a flexible extension or a short Philips Head screwdriver. If you're not changing the cap and rotor then I hope the location helps. Steve H.

behind left front speaker. on LHD cars, , in UK not. see my profile go to bad ecu and see full instructions there for removal.
its 15years old! no man on the earth or for sure in the cloud can answer such a questions. show me.? how can i, i cant see it, touch it , hear it or drive it. my guess …is , you are asking are there any short comings to a 96, from other cars (toyotas") or from other year, trackers.? the car will be as good and the last guy took care of it. (i see zero here all are bad when i get time) and if driven in the SALT BELT (wiki that) the 96 suffers from the crank shaft snout disease , all pre 99 kicks. all other fails are random or owner caused. (or elements , as is true for all machines on earth and orbit) see timing belt page off my profile link, its all there, in vivid details.
