Answer . 5w30, full synthetic if you want a better oil. may want a different weight if you live in an area with climate extremes.
To keep a car running smoothly, the correct fluids must bemaintained in the vehicle. 78W-80 mineral oil should be used in thePeugeot 806 Gearbox.
If you still have the owner's manual for the 2004 echo there should be a specifications section that will tell you the oil capacity (drain and refill) with a filter change and without a filter change. For instance, I have a 2002 Toyota echo. On page 217 of my owner's manual it shows that the capacit…y with a filter change is 3.7 liters, 3.9 quarts or 3.3 imperial quarts. I would imagine that the oil capcity of your 2004 echo is similar. After you change the oil and filter add the 3.9 quarts and check the oil level on the dip stick. Also note, my owner manual states that the amount of oil to fill between the low level and the full level on the dipstick is 1.5 liters, 1.6 quarts and 1.3 imperial quarts. Hope this answers the question. (MORE)
Classic Beetle: Shell Rotella T 15W40. You can use any heavy-duty oil you like--other brands include Chevron Delo 400 and Castrol Tection Extra. Note from long time classic beetle owner: I prefer Castrol GTX 20W50 in a classic Beetle. (Note to long term classic beetle owner: I used to run the s…ame stuff. Rotella is made for service in heavy-duty diesels, which run hot compared to a watercooled gas engine. Bug engines also run hot...so I have come to enjoy using heavy-duty oil. If you want to stick with a Castrol product, try Castrol Tection Extra. When you're running big rig oil, there's no "what viscosity do I use?" about it: ALL of it is 15W40.) New Beetle: 5W20, Any name brand will do but I like Castrol. Synthetic is fine. The new beetles from 1998 up use a special oil,and if you don't use the right one you are going to have problems with overheating. My oil is a 0-40 and it is more expensive but I don't have the overheating problem I had when they changed the oil and used the 5-30 synthetic.I got mine at Walmart it was 6.49 a quart. The 99 beetle takes 4 and a half quarts. I just changed the oil in my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon today. I know it's not the same year as yours, but I put 4 quarts in mine. I checked the stick under the hood and it showed that it was about full.
After you drain all of the old oil (remove the oil plug in the pan and replace the oil filter) all you have to do is remove the oil cap and pour the oil in there (although, make sure you've screwed the oil plug back in the oil pan). The car will probably need about 4 quarts (one gallon) of oil in it…. Then check the dipstick to see if it's full or not.. I'd advise a synthetic oil of sorts - Honda recommend a 10w-30 or a 10w-40, depending if it's a V-TEC or V6 engine. Look on the Mobil website for further specific advice or call Honda direct. The owner's manual reads to use 5W-20. They do this in order tomeet fleet fuel economy standards as I understand it. I use 5W-30to extend engine life, especially if you live in the south. If youhave more than 90K I would recommend using a high mileage blend ofsynthetic and regular. I use GTX high mi…leage in mine. I have 155Kand still running like new. (MORE)

It depends on which engine you have. 4.6L engine: Use SAE 5W-20engine oil. 4.0L engine: Use SAE 5W-30 engine oil. You can find allof this information in your Owner's Manual. If you don't have one, here is a PDF of the 2004 Explorer Owner Manual.
if you have lost the locking wheel nut key to remove the locking wheel nut then you can still remove the nut by getting a socket that is a tight fit on the nut and hammering it onto the locking wheel nut then it will undo. i worked in a garage for a few years and everytime a car came in with your pr…oblem that's how we solved it. 10W-40 is pretty standard, if you live somewhere where it's really hot or really cold you might want something thicker or thinner, respectively. Use synthetic oil if you really want to baby it, otherwise it'll be fine.
\nThere is no fuel filter in the 307s. The fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank and can be accessed by lifting the rear seat acts as a fuel filter, and therefore it is not replaceable, unless you change the fuel pump which regularly lasts for 80.000 klm.
Any weight is better than not any oil! but if youre shopping , i used a 30 weight Valvoline winter, 50 wt in summer, straight 30 or 50, I drove trucks 15 years at a company full of different diesels! they only had 30 wt, until ur Detroit 2 stroke 8V92 drivers complained and got 50 wt for us.
Your owner's manual should have this for you, but it may depend on where you live and how you drive. I live in Alaska and drive 30,000 miles a year. I change my oil regularly and use 5W30. 2002 Camry LE

First check the bulbs or replace them, next check the fuse, if that's OK then the only other thing is the actual brake switch, usually mounted to the pedal. These often fail due to movement of the wire in a confined area.
