I disagree with the other answer. The only thing I removed when replacing the lights in my Trailblazer was the air filter cover.\n. \nThe lights can be replaced without removing anything else as long as you are patient and careful.\n. \n Answer \n. \nyou must remove the chrome/painted trim p…iece entirely....there are several clips you must disengage to remove trim piece then pull up on tab, the bulb is located behind rubber. Answer . \nOpen the hood. Pop of the front grill piece with the Chevy symbol. Don't worry it won't break! On either side of each head light assembly there is one metal tab. This tab is in the shape of an upside down "L". Pop both of these tabs up, you may need a flat head screw driver to pr…y them up. The light assembly will then pull out to you. Then remove the rubber cover of the low beam light, twist, and pull bulb out. Don't forget to put rubber cover back on after replacing bulb. \n. \nHope this helps- JG (MORE)
Why does the radio in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer turn off as soon as the key is turned off when it used to stay on?
Answer . \nTry pressing the "override button" to the left of the steering wheel, you may have hit it by accident. This will turn the radio off when the key is turned off and the interior lights won't come on.
Answer . Remove the grill by pulling the tabs forward across the top of the grill. There are several tabs that need removed. The grill covers both left and right headlamps, with two tabs on left and right side. You can't tip the headlights forward without removing. Once grill is removed pull up o…n the two retaining tabs on the headlamp. One tab is hidden by the fender. Lamp will fall forward, you may need to lift it up slightly. May help to remove turn signal lamp to get more slack to work with. Remover rubber cover on back of bulb, twist out bulb, disconnect, and replace.. Align the grill, snap the grill back in across the top, don't forget to snap the tabs into both headlamps. (MORE)

On the left side of the radio below the tune knob there are two small buttons. Press and keep pressing the left one for the hours. Press the right one for the minutes. After adjusted, remove your finger.
Perhaps bad bulbs or bad switch Actually the most common cause of low beam failure on Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and Buick Ranier is the micro relay located under the hood. It is part number 15016745 and has four prongs. To test if your relay has gone bad locate the relay in your fuse box. The…re will be two such relays located next to each other. One controls the low beam headlights and the other the cooling fan. Swap the relays and check your low beam headlights. If the low beams work you have a bad relay. Sometimes when the relay goes bad a bulb will burn out as well so if need be check your bulbs. Make sure to swap the relays back so that the cooling fan is not inoperative. Purchase a new relay either online, eBay, auto parts store or dealer. Best deals are usually found online but fastest is the dealer if they have them in stock. Dealer prices aren't cheap, expect to pay $40 to $50, but if you can't wait to have the relay shipped to you it is sometimes your only option. I actually found mine on eBay for $20. Try online search for "15016745 relay" (MORE)
Answer . Should be a Halogen bulb High-low beam combo maybe, maybe not. As you are looking down at the back of the headlight assembly gently push down on the clip that holds the wiring harness to the bulb. Now rotate the bulb counter clock wise (left) and then remove it. Reverse process to install.… . Good Luck and Remember. Change Your Mind, Not Your Oil. Use the First In Synthetic Motor Oil's. See My Bio For Information & Contact Details. . To get to the bulb you need to take bolt out of the cross brace going to the fender. Loosen up the bolt on the other end so you can move brace out of the way . Take the top of the air filter box out which has 3 screws holding it on. Now you have room to get your hand in. You have to take rubber boot off back of light houseing to get to bulb. Might as well change out air filter while you are at it. (MORE)
Answer from J @ floridaproweb.com The bezel surrounding the radio is a solid bezel that also trims out around the speedo and light switch. A Phillips head screw driver and small socket will be needed to remove the dash panels. I also like to use a small pick tool that looks like a little hook to… place behind the the dash panels and gentle pull the panel away from the clipped areas. You must be careful to have removed ALL screws of each panel you are removing otherwise you will break/damage your dash. First start by removing the screw near the cigarette lighter (to the left of the cigarette lighter). You will need to remove the drivers side lower dash panel before you can completely remove the bezel surrounding the stereo and speedometer... because it overlaps the upper dash trim. Once you remove the bottom dash trim you can remove the 2 remaining screws from the upper bezel. You must put the vehicle in the lowest gear position for the dash panel to clear the shifter when removing. REMEMBER to unplug all wiring harnesses and don't yank or pull to forcefully on anything... if it seems stuck then either a screw was left in tact or a wiring harness is still connected to a switch mounted in the dash panel. Once removed you can clearly see the screws to remove the factory stereo... You must have an install kit that contains the GM wiring harness adapter otherwise you will loose some nice factory features. The wiring harness can be found at Circuit City or Best Buy! Good Luck! Answer . The thermostat is behind the alternator on the driver's side of the engine. There is no easy way to access it that I have found, but I have read that you can get a long ratchet and get to it from the wheel well after you take the tire off. The plastic splash guard in the wheel well would… need to come off too.. the easiest way is to remove the alternator first (MORE)
had same problem replaced solid state relay number 46 its black and has the following numbers on it 15016745 it is located in the fuse box in the engine compartment this will solve the problem of the low beam headlights turning off by themselves while driving at night.
You have to remove instrument panel and dash panel to get to radio simply unscrew all screws and remove.
It may be the fuel sensor going bad. I had an '05 with only 40k miles, and the fuel gauge wouldn't come off of E. They had to replace the fuel sensor and it went back to working normally. Not a particularly cheap repair since the gas tank must be removed to get to the sensor.
Check the cd player for items which may have been shoved into theplayer. If this is not the case the laser may have burnt out, awire could be loose, or something else may have broken.
I had the same problem with my 2004 TB EXT LS V-8. The type of radio I have also included the cassette feature. My CD got stuck found out the cam that pushes the CD out broke. Was cheaper to simply replace it with a used radio. Note: Because the radio is tied into your factory security system, You w…ill need to have the replacement radio re-coded by a Chevy dealer or it will not work. (MORE)
Depending on which side (driver/passenger), you will need to remove the airbox on the passenger side to gain access, and the battery cover/battery, etc on the driver's side. If you are good, you can get to the driver's side w/o removing battery stuff. Once you locate the wire/bulb, you need to turn …to the left or right 1/4 turn and the bulb will pop out of the socket. Then, you will need to unplug the bulb from the wiring. Be careful when installing new bulb not to touch the glass as that may cause the bulb to heat up and break due to skin reside deposited and will heat up when turned on. Installation is reverse of removal. High beam bulbs are easier to access since they are more inboard and you can gain access to those without removing any other items. (MORE)
How can you make the High Beam and Low beam lights come on at the same time on a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer?
pull back on the dimmer switch and hold it. You do not want to do this ... the bulb, which has two elements, will quickly overheat and burn out, leaving you with no headlights whatsoever. Holding back on the dimmer switch will burn up the relay by overheating it, too.

Depends how you drive, if you got a lead foot it's not going to be good. I have a 2002 tb lt v6 and on a trip I get 20 to 21 mpg. One winter I drove without ac and got 23.5 mpg. That was driving with cruise control on and not going over speed limit. In town 18 to 20 mpg.

How can you reset the computer on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer when you have replaced the thermostat and now it is idling low when AC is on and you have been told that computer needs to be reset?
Whenever you disconnect the battery for several minutes then you will reset the PCM (computer). It sounds more like you have a dirty throttle body based on your description of the problem. If you disconnected the battery when you changed the thermostat housing (most times it is impossible to chan…ge it without removing the alternator.....that bottom bolt!!!!! dang!!!) the PCM resets. The difference is it had learned to run with a dirty throttle body. Now, after the reset, it provides running parameters for a new or clean throttle body. Problem is that the throttle body is probably dirty after several years running. The changes are slow and the computer modifies it's running parameters to maintain the trucks performance through a learning process. Long story short: disconnect battery, remove throttle body, clean the backside of it and be careful of the sharp edge on the body where the butterfly seals - razor sharp! (MORE)
The vehicle should be shut-off. First remove the bezel and trim around the head unit. Second, remove the two head unit retaining screws. The head unit can slide out. Once out enough the rear wiring harness attached can be disconnected.
On my 02 you open the hatch, take out 2 screws, then carefully pull the light STRAIGHT back. Once that is off you have to unscrew the panel on the back of the light itself, think there are 3 screws there. Then pull that out, you will have all 3 bulbs out still in their board. Why would the low beam headlights shut off by themselves on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer then work normally next time you start it?
Any DTC's, and ensure all light bulbs and fuses are functioning properly (ensure they are low beams, not DRL's)

Do you simply need a new wiper blade? Rubber gets stiff over time and will not conform to the glass. Next, clean and lubercate the hinge of the wiper (the one at the base of the arm that allows you to pull it away from the glass). Make sure it moves freely. Usually they corrode badly. If the above… two steps do not work, then you'll need to dig into the arm more which I hope someone else can add to this answer. (MORE)

The TPMS sensor matching process for 08 TrailBlazer LT is outlinedbelow: Set the parking brake. Turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off. Turn the headlamp control from off to parking lamps four timeswithin three seconds. A double horn chirp will sound and the TPMSlow tire warning l…ight will begin to flash. The double horn chirpand flashing TPMS warning light indicate that the TPMS matchingprocess has started. The TPMS warning light should continueflashing throughout the matching procedure. Start with the driver side front tire. Remove the valve cap from the valve cap stem. Activate the TPMSsensor by increasing or decreasing the tire's air pressure for 10seconds, then stop and listen for a single horn chirp. The singlehorn chirp should sound within 15 seconds, confirming that thesensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheelposition. If you do not hear the confirming single horn chirp, youwill need to start over with step number one. Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the procedurein Step 5. Proceed to the passenger side rear tire, and repeat the procedurein Step 5. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure inStep 5. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the driver's side reartire, check to see if the TPMS warning light is still flashing. Ifyes, turn the ignition switch to LOCK/OFF to exit the sensormatching process. If the TPMS warning light is not flashing, thefive minute time limit has passed and you will need to start theprocess over beginning with Step 1. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level (MORE)
