Answer . Some are in the fuse block and some have a fuse on the back of the lighter/..
Answer . \nIt's the fuse labelled "Room" in the fuse box inside at the driver's kick panel. If not that one, it's the same as the "Radio".
not 100% sure that this is the same as 96 model but found out on mine there isn't such a convectional definition. basically pluged a ceramic heater 200w into my cigarette lighter which worked for few seconds and then stopped. checked all the fusses and all of them were ok. managed to pull out the ci…garette lighter with the plug and checked the connector. with the ignition on tested the connector and noticede there was power at the connector but on the body of the plug there was a transistor that would have acted as the fuse and looked that it hade taken the strain!I am going to take it to a electronical shop to have it replaced. i belive the cigarette lighter not to be used for accesories that require "fuses" more than 15A. heater i used needed 17A or higher!. If the cigarette lighter is not working and the ACC fuse, inside the car, left of steering wheel, is still good (radio is working), the "fuse" on the back side of the cigarette lighter socket, a brown wire, has blown. Socket needs to be replaced or fixed with a soldering iron and a new wire.
Answer . \nYes, its located on the driver side fuse panel. Don't remember the fuse number, but you should be able to tell which is blown. Good luck
15 -------------- It's a 15amp Fuse located on the top left corner of the Fuse Panelinside the Cabin under the Glove Box. No tools needed, just undothe 'Shroud' with the 2 knobs, this will expose the Fuse Box , justpull it down and swap in a good fuse and you should be good to go.
Where do you look next if the cigarette lighter in a Mazda 626 is not receiving voltage but all the fuses and relays are intact?
Answer . \nHad this problem - simple doesnt have a fuse buy new cigarette lighter.
Answer . The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in your vehicle's fuse box, along with fuses for the rest of the electrical system. You may need to refer to your manual to find the exact location of the fuse box, but it can usually be found either on the driver's side near the steering co…lumn under the dash board, or near the battery itself inside your engine compartment. Fuses come in two basic styles; most commonly are blade fuses (color coded plastic fuses with two metal "fins" on either side that plug in) or sometimes glass tube fuses that have metal caps on either end. (Some newer vehicles are using "mini" blade fuses which look the same as a typical blade fuse, but is smaller in size.) Both types of fuses provide an area in between the metal terminals where you can view the fuse wire. If its missing or broken, you've got a blown fuse! First look in your fuse box to see if the fuses are labelled (they usually are) and your cigarette lighter will either be labelled as such, or possibly labelled as "accessory." Worst case scenario you will have to pop out fuses until you find one that is blown, and replace that one. A cigarette lighter/accessory lead fuse is usually 15A, and will typically be colored blue. There are usually a number of spare fuses attached to the lid of the fuse box, and if you find a matching one you can simply replace it with the spare. Otherwise, you'll want to take the blown fuse to a local electronics or automotive store and purchase one with the same rating (don't worry, they only cost a few cents!) When choosing a replacement, make sure the current rating is exactly the same, eg, 15A. The current rating should be clearly displayed on the fuse. If a voltage rating is also given, make sure it is for at least 14V (most fuses will have ratings far above 14V, as 200V are quite common.) Using a current rating that is too small will not harm your electrical system and might work (say, you only have a 10A spare available to replace a 15A), this will work in a pinch, but it may cause the fuse to prematurely blow again. In no cases should you use a replacement fuse with a higher rating however! Using a replacement fuse for more than its rated will allow more current to flow than the system was designed for and can cause damage to your electrical system or present a fire hazard. (MORE)
Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter in the fuse box under the steering wheel in a Mazda 626 1996 no owners manual?
Answer . \nThe 15A fuse for the cigarette lighter also supplies the power mirrors and audio system, and is located in the left side kick panel under the dashboard. It's the middle fuse, fourth row down, labeled "E" in the factory diagram. Hope this helps.
Answer . \nThe one you most likely can't find is right on the back of the fuse receptacle. It's a fusible link and requires you to replace the receptacle.

Answer . It is an inline fuse behind the socket. I don't know anything else about it but here is a post I found. http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634961
The cigarette lighter is locked into the radio console bezel thatsurrounds the radio, HVAC controls, etc. The bezel is not very easyto remove. First you must unscrew the shifter knob. Then remove thecenter console - two screws in the armrest console, then you mustpry up the power window switch with …a very thin putty knife, unplugand remove it, and then remove the screw beneath it. Then thecenter console will lift up and out of the way, exposing two screwsat the bottom of the bezel surrounding the radio and containing thecigarette lighter. Remove those two, and then the bezel can becarefully pried loose from the dash - It is held in by metal tangs. Once this bezel is loose from the dash panel, you can unplug theairbag switch and cigarette lighter lead, and it's free. . The lighter itself is held in place by an orange collar surroundingthe metal body of the lighter - it is a one-way installation withlittle plastic fangs that press through the bezel and lock theorange fitting into place. Attempt to remove this at your own risk, you risk breaking the bezel. I opted to snap off the one-way fangsthat hold it into the bezel from the rear and replace it, it's partof the factory part you get from the Mazda dealer anyway. Assemblyis the reverse of disassembly, etc.. This is a fiddly non-trivial project.. (MORE)
Unless your car has an in-line fuse behind the lighter socket behind the dash board, it will be in the same fuse panel as all of the other fuses, usually under the bottom of the dash on the left side of the steering column, or behind a removable door in the drivers side kick panel under the dash.
`the cigarette lighter fuse is located in the fuse box under the bonnet on the passenger side
the fuse is in the fuse panel.. if its not the trace the power lines from the lighter back and you should find an in line fuse.
The fuse the works the cigarette lighter in a car in located in thefuse box. It is usually labeled with accessory or with cig.lighter.
in the trunk of the car on the left hand side there is a compartment open and there is another fuse box. look on the cover and it gives you the number.
In many cars, the cigar lighter and the car's horn are on the same electrical circuit. This is done as neither horn nor lighter would ever be used constantly while traveling.
Did you ever find out where the cigarette lighter fuse was located on the 98 Camry? I have a 00 Camry and im looking for my cig. lighter fuse. The fuse is in a fuse box located under the drivers side of the dashboard to the left of the steering column. If the fuse is good and the cigarette lighter …still does not work, the wire attaching at the cigarette lighter itself has probably burned or broken off necessitating the lighter be changed. It's a comon problem. (MORE)
Easy look at the fuse box under the steering wheel and look for a blown fuse then replace it with a larger one. If that blows then you have a short to ground. That first answer is so unhelpful! The fuse you're looking for is in the fuse box on the left side of the steering wheel. It's labeled ACC …(diagram is on the fuse box cover) and is a 15 amp fuse. I just had my stereo and cigg lighter stop working. I changed the fuse and all is right in the world. Good luck to you! (MORE)
It's under the hood in the engine compartment power distribution box, Viewing this box opened, it's the third one from the cut off corner, farthest from the circuit breakers. It may be labeled "Cig Illumination" and it's 20 amp. Have this as an on-going problem with mine. It also controls the power …take-off port in the console and the power seats. My seats work fine but the lighter doesn't, so mine isn't the fuse. Could also be a bad socket or wiring. (MORE)
it is in the fuses box inside the vehicle i belive it is # 17 and is 25amp
it's located on the fuse box in the kick panel drivers side by the foot rest look for a small door if door is missing pull one by one until you find bured fuse the metal part should be in tact
Under the dash on the passenger side there is a cover hiding the fuse box
It is located in the Kick Panel right by the brake pedal on the drivers side underneath the Dashboard the Cigarette fuse is labeled HCLN and it is a 20 amp fuse. =-)
The fuses are located behind the panel under the steering column. You'll need a flat screwdriver or coin to undo the latch. From this site: http://www.peugeotlogic.com/fuses/fuses306/fuselist7.htm The fuse number could be F16, F16A or F19. You'll need a 20A fuse for F16 and F16A or a 10A fuse …for F16. (MORE)
It's located in the fuse box. Check you manuel and it will tell you where exactly. some fuses are located under the dash on the driver side, also under the hood.
The fuse for that is in the rear of the car right by the spare tire . It is a 20 amp yellow fuse it is fuse 18.
Probably not a fuse if that is the ONLY thing not working. Fuses located under rear seat near battery, left of dash facing door, under hood.
Drivers side kick panel you will see the fuse panel remove the cover the cigarette lighter fuse is the 2nd fuse from the bottom 2nd row. 15 amp fuse (Blue)
check the one that's says acc. it sometimes the same of the radio or dome liths
Check the fuse panel usually located on the driver side under the dash or in the glovebox. There should be a fuse marked C/lighter or something along those lines. It is possible it may be under the hood in the Main big fuse box. check these fuses VERY carefully.
It's fuse #7.. The fuses are located in the glove compartment. Open the golve compartment turn the white plastic screws on the top inside of the compoartment. It will pivot down and reveal the fuses. There is also a pull-out card showing which fuse is which.
Under the glove box on the passenger side... awkward to get to. The engine side fuse box is next to the battery under the hood. Hope this helps! ;) The fuse for the lighter is labeled as CIGAR and 15A. IT is in the fusebox licated udner the passenger side glove compartment. The fuse s on the far lef…t side of the box, top row. (MORE)

IIRC its a 15amp fuse and the fuse for the Cig. Lighter is found in the lower driverside kick panel, not the one under the hood
in the back. --------------------- Actually, if you want an answer that helps, there is a Fuse Box below the Glove Box. No tools needed, just undo the 'Shroud' with the 2 knobs, this will expose the Fuse Box in the Cabin (the other is under the hood by the Battery, fyi.). The Fuse for the Cig …adapter will be a 15amp in the top left corner of the panel. Hope this helps. (MORE)
I HAVE 1994 FORD E250 AND I THINK THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUSE WENT OUT AND TRYING TO FIND WHAT FUSE IT IS AND WHERE IT IS LOCATED
The fuse box is located along the floor to the left on the driver side. You will see where you can slide off the panel to get to the fuses. The front lighter fuse is 10 and the rear lighter fuse is 15. See owners manuel 8-41.
Well fiery thing you should do is get you mazes rx8 back because it worked in it
There are two fuses for both cigarette lighters on my Mazda 6, 2004. The 15A fuses are located in the fuse box, located under the steering wheel on the left side, just above the driver's floor mat. The fuse slot for the front lighter is #10, and #14 is for the rear accessory lighter.
In the passenger compartment fuse panel , fuse # 47 , 20 amp , cigarette lighter and . power point
In my 2002 LX I found it to be the 20A fuse in the fuse compartment inside by the driverside door. in the owners manual it is listed as "DISCRIP: #2 (H/CLN) - PROTECTED COMPONENT For protection of various circuits." The top row second in. If this isn't it get a pair of pliers and gently pull the fus…es- one at a time- and see if they are burnt out. (MORE)
If the two large relays are at the bottom it is the 4th fuse down on the right hand side. It should be a 15 amp fuse. See Related Link (It the picture of a cigarette on the diagram)
This is usually caused by a bad socket. When you put the lighter in it grounds out the positive and negative wires. Change out the socket and lighter and it will work fine.
A broken cigarette lighter fuse in a Mazda 5 can be a nuisance. Aburnt fuse is a common cause for this problem and can be found inslot 43 of the passenger fuse box.
Most cars have a central fuse block where all the fuses are located. It is also possible that the lighter is broken. You can get a new one at the parts store. rtfm
That would depend on what year , make , model . A little more information please 03 plate 1.8 nissan primara
behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. Open and unclip at each side and slide the resistance piston on the left hand side off its mounting. The fuse box sits behind
