Answer . If you are referring to the inertia switch, look in your owners manual under "problems on the road". If no luck, you don;t have one. If you want to secure the fuel pump simply pull the fuse or relay labeled "fuel". Dodge doesn't use inertia switches.

I beleave it's in the trunk next to the battery. it say "Fuel cut off" and it's a cable you pull.

dont know if there is one but i think it's somewhere in the boot/trunk on the drivers side its worth a look
You're probably talking about an "inertia switch" - sorry, I'm not sure if anyone besides Ford uses them for sure. Your owner's manual should tell you.
Answer . \nOnly the 4 cylinder has a cutoff switch; you will need to refer to a HAYNES manual if you have the 4 cylinder. The cutoff switch on this model is for fuel enrichment; if you have other problems you may have a pump/relay problem.
Try checking the trunk, same side where you put the gas in just above the filler cap. You may have to pull to carpeting/matting so you can get to it. However, most cars attach the trunk carpet with velcro in this area (specifically for this reason). GM vehicles do not use inertia switches.

Some vehicles are not equipped with a fuel cutoff switch. A 2000GMC Jimmy is an example of a vehicle that does have a fuel cutoffswitch.
